What is a colonic?
A colonic (also called colon hydrotherapy or colon irrigation) gently rinses the colon with warm, filtered water. Brandy uses the Angel of Water open system. You relax in a reclining position while a slow, gravity-fed flow of water (about 1.0 PSI) does the work. Every client gets a new, single-use, sterile rectal nozzle, which you insert yourself for privacy.

- Print and fill out the Personal History Form, and bring it with you.
- Don’t eat for about two hours before your appointment.
- Your first visit starts with a digestive system and nutritional consultation, so plan a little extra time.
- Afterward, you can go right back to work or the rest of your day.
Is colon hydrotherapy right for you?
Colon hydrotherapy is a wellness service, not a medical treatment, and it isn’t right for everyone. It isn’t recommended during the first or last trimester of pregnancy, or with conditions such as congestive heart failure, kidney problems, cirrhosis, an abdominal hernia, severe hemorrhoids, or recent abdominal or rectal surgery.
