Breville BJE200XL 700-Watt Compact Juice Fountain

This thing is POWERFUL, especially compared to “Jack LaLanne”. It is so powerful I usually don’t even use the pusher except to cover the top so your ceiling doesn’t get covered with stuff. Other reviewers have mentioned that tendency. What wasn’t mentioned is that the reason it does that is because the motor is so beefy that stuff will shoot straight up.

Breville-BJE200XLEnjoy an 8-ounce cup of juice in just five seconds thanks to the unique cyclonic system of this full-function juice fountain. Its 700-watt motor operates at 14,000 RPM for maximum extraction and fast results. The unit features a stabilizing dual knife assembly, which centers fruits or vegetable over the cutter and filter, minces them into minute particles, and forces them against the stainless-steel micro-mesh filter, all of which increases yield by 30 percent and produces results 10 times faster than other juice extractors. The filter and cutter system are so powerful that pineapple can be juiced with the rind on. Another thoughtful detail includes the machine’s extra-large 3-inch centered feed tube that allows for juicing whole fruits and vegetables. Plus, the unit’s easy-to-clean internal pulp container assembles in seconds and juices 1-1/2 quarts of apple juice before it needs to be emptied. All removable parts clean up quickly by hand or in the dishwasher, and a custom cleaning brush is included. Providing heavy-duty performance in a space-saving design, the compact juice fountain measures 9-1/2 by 8-3/4 by 16 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.

The Breville Juice Fountain Compact has a patented 3 inch centered feed tube which juices whole fruit without cutting. The easy clean central pulp container juices 1.5 quarts before it needs to be emptied. With a 750 watt motor it has a heavy duty performance. It also has a unique Cyclonic Juicing System which operates at 14,000 RPM to maximize extraction.

Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor

The Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite with 1000 watts is super efficient. This model has an Italian made electronic motor that increases power under yield to maintain filter revolutions. It has two speeds for soft and hard fruits and a three inch feed tube which minimizes preparation and feeding time.

Breville-800JEXL-Juice-Fountain-Elite-1000-Watt-Juice-ExtractorBeautifully designed stainless die cast steel housing and motor body makes it a work of art on the countertop. While juicing, you may notice juice escaping between the plastic juicer cover and the stainless steel filter bowl surround.

Try pushing the Food Pusher down more slowly and using the low speed. When large quantities of fruits and vegetables, especially those with high water content such tomatoes and watermelon, are fed into the Feed Chute at a rapid rate, the stainless steel filter basket coverts these into juice so quickly that the force may cause leaking.

Here’s what one reviewer had to say, “I used an Omega 1000 for 7 years. The Omega would often get out of balance (you have to stop juicing, disassemble, clean and start over), has a small feed chute and at times would “spray” some juice from the spout.

60 Day Raw Juice Feast Part 7

Sorry it has been too long since my last entry but this has been such a busy month. At the end of each day I’m sure you can relate …..I’m just so dead tired that my journal is always put off for later. That is not good for those of you who are following what a juice feast is like. I will say that i have had some solid foods in my mouth only to see if the seasoning is correct and then I would spit it out. When you are cooking vegan for a family of 4 I think it only polite to make sure it is prepared correctly. Thank goodness I’m pretty confident with most of my cooked-vegan meals.

Today was another regular freshed squeezed lemon in warm distilled water first thing in the morning. I had some oranges that were showing some age so I juiced those (about 6 ) around 10 am and didn’t want anything but cold fresh lemon water for ice until about 3:00 pm. I decided to make a quart of carrot/beets and the tops/cucumber juice. I know people think that juicing is such a hassle but for me it is definitely worth it. I just keep reminding myself I need these nutrients in my body. I don’t believe in synthetic vitamins and/or minerals. I do know if you elect to get everything you need nutrient wise from a plant you can assimilate much quicker and more thoroughly.

Now tonight I didn’t juice anymore, what I decided to drink instead was my homemade KOMBUCHA…I had one of my favorite flavors (strawberry) and it was so refreshing. It is a natural symbiotic (probiotic) cultured drink made from Japanese green tea. I make it myself and anyone could. It has a slightly tart taste and mine has lots of effervesence. That is one of the main reasons I like it. I flavor mine with fresh or frozen organic fruits so that I have a variety. The most important thing about it is that it is so good for you and refreshing to drink. It is just another juice option. I do think I’m going to make the next batch include grapefruit and raw ginger………..Oh I fogot to mention another 2 lbs. down…….and exercise is so much easier …I love it..I’m lighter and the juices (esp. carrot/spinach ) give me more energy!

60 Day Raw Juice Feast Part 6

Today was a mixture of some great tasting juices…..all of a sudden I was craving lots of greens in my juice and I went for it.  I made every green thing in my frig since it had to go soon anyway.  After my usual hot water with fresh lemon in the morning, it was about 11 am before i wanted to put something in for energy. I had an abundance of what I call crocodile kale and cilantro from the cultured veggies. I ended up mixing carrot, kale, cilantro, beet greens and the tops of celery root.  It was refreshing and delicious…in fact I made so much my whole family drank 2 pints each!  I like to give the fresh juices to my teenagers just as soon as they get home from school so that they are not foraging like bears through my pantry.  I even quite buying organic boxed cereal because I saw them eating just for entertainment. I try to give them more foods that have not been denatured by heat and loaded with active enzymes.

I knew this would happen while juicing this long and it has only been about 3 weeks now, but I think I want to exercise. I mean I have  a lot of energy and I have no trouble getting up early in the morning…I pop right out of bed. Since I feel much lighter it will be much easier to break a sweat everyday. I’ll tell you how that goes down as I venture into it more.  For tomorrow I had saved my watermelon rind and I will juice the light green section of it along with pineapple and lemon..can’t wait.

60 Day Raw Juice Feast Part 5

Last weekend was very long and hard but I knew I wouldn’t have enough time to juice a lot because I decided to put up 60+ quarts of cultured veggies. Making these cultured veggies is so time consuming that I had to prepare to have quick juices on hand. One of my favorite quick juices is whole coconut water. I ran around town the day before and gathered as many whole coconuts I could find. I use my screw driver and a hammer to punch a hole in the side of these whole coconut and then just stick a straw in it…….. there you have it…………a great tasting juice! This juice just so happens to have almost the same make-up as human hemoglobin. The only difference is our hemoglobin has an iron molecule whereas coconut water has a magnesium molecule. Anyway it is a wonderful drink that holds you over for a long time. I was sooo … busy making the cultured veggies that in between the eight coconuts I bought for the weekend I drank fresh lemon and distilled water.

I am dropping about 1 lb. a day now and I am down 12 lbs in all. I try not to put too much emphasis on how much weight I lose but more on how healthy I feel and how much energy I have and definitely how HAPPY I am every day.

Today it was so refreshing to get a long colonic ( 2 hrs). I felt a little constipated because now most of my bowel movements are mostly liquid. Sometimes I feel like I have to have a movement, but because I have no fiber in this feast it is easy to feel that way. I was surprised how much I was still releasing and how much is still formed this far into the juice feast.

I was thinking that tomorrow I will try to have mostly veggie juice and no fruit. It is all about getting a wide variety of nutrients. I was also thinking that if I wanted to go into a complete water fast it would be easy at this moment of the feast. I no longer have any cravings and don’t really think about food like I used to. Drinking enough fluids is very important at this point because now my kidney cells will be cleaning house.
